Well, I have finally started to settle in down here at Mt Hermon. I went out for a drive today to explore the area a little more. Hwy 9 is now one of my most favorite roads in the world cause it is just mile after mile of twisty road. This pic is from where I ended my drive, Light House Point State Park in Santa Cruz. Jelious yet? The weather has actually been pretty similar to Seattle since I have arrived. It is a little smoggier and dustier since it doesn’t rain as often (it definately will rain at least as much in inches though, if not more) but the tempertures have been between 65 and 82 abouts. Anyway, I’m off to buy milk and eggs since I forgot to get them earlier. Fortunately there is a safeway right at the entrance to the camp so I don’t have to go far. Hopefully I will get some new pics and things to add in the coming weeks and months as I get to know the area better. I’ll tell you one thing though, Santa Cruz makes Seattle look like it was laid out well!
