Quicky

I got a little stir crazy today after a couple days of rain and a new camera lens burning a hole in my camera bag so I took off up the coast to the Pigeon Point Lighthouse. I was kind of hoping to see some migrating whales, and I did but nothing good enough for a picture. Although it was a good chance to see just how well my new lens performs fully extended at 300mm. Overall I thought it did a good job, but alas, no whales. Anyway, head on over to Flickr as always to get a peak at what did turn out. For me, though, it’s time for sleeping!

Edit: I found an easier way to let you see my pics on Flickr. You can now just follow the linked feed on the right hand side of the page to each new picture as I upload it. Hope you enjoy!

  • about me

    My name is Jonathan Assink.

I'm a writer, photographer, baseball nut, foodie & lover of indie bands you've probably never heard of. I wrote a theology of justice for artists & love to talk about the intersection of art, faith & social justice. I am passionate about words & images. I have a heart for the city, for the church (in whatever form it takes) & for artists.

Though inspired & influenced by many different people and experiences my words here are my own & do not represent the views of any organization I might be involved in.
