So I was originally going to write a big long thing about a couple of shows that were on the History Channel tonight about Star Wars for the celebration of the 30th anniversary.  I’m so tired that I’m falling asleep as I type this so I’m just going to give you my main point without all the fluff.  When it comes to Star Wars, there is one tech question and only one tech question that matters.  It’s not when can I fly a real X-wing or when is faster than light travel going to be possible.  Oh no, it is much more simple and straight forward than that.  The question on every guys mind is this, “can I build my own lightsaber?”  I mean, is there a cooler life hack than that?  I’m surprised we aren’t further along toward this goal because really, that is all anyone wants.  If everyone in the world owned their own lightsaber, I think it would be a much happier place.
