Haircuts

While it may not seem obvious based on my hair cutting practices since my freshman year at SPU, I love getting hair cuts.  While I do enjoy letting my hair grow out and I do like saving money by not getting it cut once a month, I love how fresh and clean I feel afterward.  My favorite part of getting my haircut is getting it washed.  At the risk of sounding a little less manly, it feels really, really good to have your scalp massaged with peppermint smelling conditioner. I love how it feels all tingly and fresh too.

Hair is interesting in how people all treat theirs differently.  While few people have ever made remarks about my beautiful locks, I think my hair is pretty dang cool.  When it is long I keep myself entertained by playing with it.  When I get it cut short, I go through a period of mourning for the fallen brotheren.  But when it is short, oh!  I love how clean it feels and how it stays out of the way.  When it gets long it starts poking me in the eye and shedding all over the place.  When it’s short it is so light and soft!  Ahh, I love my hair. :)

I get my haircuts at Supercuts because they’re pretty consistent. They cut every guy’s hair the same way. Okay, maybe that’s exaggerating a bit, but it’s probably close to true.

I don’t think that’s too far off, that does seem to be where most guys I know go.
