ihome zune clock radio

I was wandering around Best Buy and Circuit City tonight looking at getting new computer speakers to replace the ones that I’ve had since high school.  They still work for the most part but the audio input is starting to get a little funky and sometimes won’t play if you bump it or look at it wrong.  I didn’t find anything at either store that I liked that was less than $150 so I said forget it.  On my way out the door of Circuit City however, I happened to swing by the portable audio aisle and discovered they were selling the Zune version of the popular iHome iPod clock radios.  I was rather shocked because I didn’t think they even came out until next month.  (Update: Sure enough, as far as I can tell, the iHome website says it won’t be out until July, granted that is just around the corner though)

Anyway. . . so far the audio is a tiny bit muddy so I may keep looking for replacement computer speakers, but still, if I don’t keep this thing at home, I’ll take it into the office and replace the mini-system that takes up half my desk.  Pics of the unboxing over on Flickr.
